Prayers for our Leaders:

Dearest Lord, Please let each leader know that war IS NOT the answer-it never was and never will be in a so-called civilized society. Our troops have fought valiantly and have been killed, maimed physically and emotionally for a useless prolonged war. I believe in my heart that You would not choose war in this day and age of 2007-we should have learned from You, Prince of Peace. In the 2008 elections, may the "right" candidate end the war successfully-may our leaders listen to You above the noisy din of politics. May our wounded heal according to Your will. In times ahead, may there be no history books telling of wars after Iraq. God bless America, especially our troops and their families. Love, Annette

Lord, please protect our President.  Keep him safe, out of harms way.  Lord, guard his heart and direct his thoughts.  Keep him faithful, a man who loves You.  Lord, keep him humble, secure, and healthy.  Be with him always.  Thank-you Lord Jesus.
